We are looking for a motivated Outside Sales Specialist to develop and maintain customer relationships. Duties of the Sales Specialist include generating revenue through sales of equipment, installations, service agreements and parts sales. The ideal candidate should be customer-centric, self-motivated, a team communicator, and have the willingness to learn products and applications. If you have previous experience in industrial equipment sales, we’d like to meet you. We would also consider someone new to the industry with a business or engineering background. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on technical information for the sales of compressed air systems, accessories, parts, and service
- Generate leads and develop detailed sales plans to effectively penetrate accounts and achieve sales goals
- Travel to current and prospective customer sites within DFW and surrounding cities in North Texas sales territories to demonstrate and explain products and services, conduct needs assessments, and solicit orders
- Recommend compressed air system products and services to customers based on their needs, interests, costs, and other factors
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service contracts to potential and existing customers
- Review detailed design drawings, specifications, or lists related to compressed air system installations
- Negotiate prices and terms of equipment sales and aftermarket service agreements
- Record prospecting activity in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Increase organizational visibility within the industrial and manufacturing industries through active networking
- Effective time management and follow-up process
- Other tasks as needed or assigned
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or other relevant field and 2+ years' B2B sales experience in the industrial / capital equipment industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License and clear motor vehicle record
- Proven ability to generate leads, convert leads to sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
